About

Confucianism is the tradition of thought founded by Confucius (551-479 BCE), a great thinker and educator in ancient China. As a way of life and a body of thought, it has evolved for two and a half millennia. The vitality of this school of thought, with its emphasis on key virtues such as benevolence, tolerance and reciprocity, has persisted to the present time, and has extended far beyond the boundaries of China.

The Confucian Weekly Bulletin engages with the Confucian tradition by serving as a platform for open discussion, news and current events, research and new publications, and for ideas about the role of Confucianism in modern society.
