“Joy can still be found in eating sparingly, drinking plain water and using the upper arm for a pillow. Wealth and status attained immorally are like floating clouds to me.

饭琉食、饮水，曲胚而枕之，乐亦在其中矣。不义而富且资，于我如浮云。

Comments:

A pivotal outlook on life, drawing solace internally, disregarding material well-being. It is parallel to the aphorism: contentment brings constant happiness.

中译：吃粗粮，喝白水，使胳膊弯着做枕头，乐也在其中。用不正当的手段使自己富有、尊贵，这对我如同浮云一般。”
